A critical role of the Yellowfin Administrators is to manage access to Yellowfin by authorised users. Each user should have a unique logon. As such each user will need to be setup in the system and assigned role permissions. The role will define what reporting functions they have access to. As an example not all users should have access to the administration functions.

User Management

Access to Yellowfin is based on users set up within the system. Through the Administration page administrators can create, edit, and delete users within the application.

See User Management for more information.

Group Management

Using Yellowfin you can create Groups of users. These groups are used for security access to dashboards and data.

See Group Management for more information.

Role Management

Create new roles and change the functions that are available to those user roles.

See Role Management for more information.
